Who Is Krishna?

As soon as I asked ‘Who is Krishna?’
An answer I received crisp and clear;
Inapprehensible I surmised was His very charisma.

He is the one who imparted divine knowledge to Arjuna;
To him, I got to know, He was friendly and dear
As soon as I asked ‘Who is Krishna?’

When I heard he distributed what is called ambrosia
Even to those who would later create panic and fear;
Inapprehensible I surmised was His very charisma.

He is said to dwell eternally in his abode called Vaikuntha;
I anyhow cognised that me he would never fail to hear
As soon as I asked ‘Who is Krishna?’

Everything appears minuscule in his panorama;
But He is there within you and also always near.
Inapprehensible I’ve surmised is His very charisma.

Wonder how exactly would be his magnificent aura;
For he happens to be the ultimate seer.
But as soon as I asked ‘Who is Krishna?’
Inapprehensible I surmised was His very charisma.
